个人简介
任晓菊，1988年毕业于长沙铁道学院。自毕业起一直在高校任教，先执教于南京铁道医学院，该学院2000年与东南大学合并后，执教于东南大学外国语学院。本人从教近20年来主要教授本科生大学英语课程，以及医学英语课程，还教授过非英语专业研究生英语课程。本人一贯严格要求自己，对工作勤勤恳恳，一丝不苟。从教近20年来形成了自己的教学思路和方法，注意对学生因材施教，做到既教书又育人。为了与时俱进更好地做好本职工作，本人长期加强对业务的钻研学习，于2006年暑期参加了学校选派的赴英国学习班，修完三门研究生课程并取得了合格证。2007年参加了研究生入学考试并被东南大学外国语学院录取，即将在职攻读应用语言学硕士学位。本人相信:好运只会垂青敢于尝试的人!
Self-introduction
My name is Ren Xiaoju. I’ve been teaching English in universities since I graduated from Changsha Railway Institute in 1988. The first 12 years after graduation I taught English in Nanjing Railway Medical College which was merged with Southeast University in the year 2000. That’s why I’m working in the Foreign Languages School at Southeast University. Time flies! Almost two decades has passed since I started my teaching career. I have taught College English courses and Medical English for undergraduates， and some courses for non-English-major postgraduates. I’m very strict with myself. I’m diligent and conscientious in doing my work. I’ve gradually formed my own way of teaching through my 20-year teaching practice. While teaching， I pay much attention to my students’ reflections. I believe teaching benefits teachers as well as students. So I not only learn from my colleagues， but also learn from my students. In order to keep up with the pace in social development and to do my job better， I pursue my studies. During the summer vacation in the year 2006， I went to Britain to attend a TESOL program which was launched by our school and Canterbury Christ Church University. I took three courses for postgraduates， passed all the tests and got the certificate. At the beginning of this year， I took part in the Entrance Exams for postgraduates. Luckily enough I was admitted by Southeast University， majoring in Linguistics. I believe good luck only has gracious concern for those who dare to have a try.
