个人简介
Dr Nazmul Huda has broad range of experience on High Temperature processing and Thermal Engineering based research. His research expertise include High temperature processing (Experimental research), Thermal Analysis (DSC/TGA/DTA), Materials Characterisation (XRD/SEM/EDS), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of high temperature systems, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Heat Flow Modelling, Extractive metallurgy of light metals and Renewable energy. Dr Huda completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. He was awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2012.
Prior to joining at Macquarie University, he worked as Postdoctoral research fellow for nearly two years on number of projects funded by CSIRO Cluster: Breakthrough Technology for primary Aluminum production and Outotec Pty. Ltd., Espoo, Finland.
He was awarded "EPD Science Award 2014" for outstanding contribution to scientific understanding of the non-ferrous process metallurgy, awarded by The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) in San Diego Convention Centre, San Diego, California, USA, on the 18th February 2014. He attended many international conferences and chaired a number of sessions. He is also a reviewer of number of world renowned scientific journals. He is member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Australasian Association of Engineering Education (AAEE) and a number of international professional organisations.
