个人简介

Dr. Chong Min Koo recieved his BS degree from Hanyang University in 1997 and Ph.D. degree from Chemical Engineering Department of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2003. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in University of Minnesota (2003-2005) and works for LG Chemicals for two years (2005-2007). He is currently serving as a center head of Materials Architecturing Research Center at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), and a professor of KU-KIST Graduate School of Converging Science and Technology, Korea University. Dr. Koo has won the several awards including LG Group Best Research and Development Award (2007), KIST Best Researcher Award (2016, 2017), Songgok Award (2017), Young Scientist Award in the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry (2017), Best publication award in Korea Polymer Society (2018), Best Korean Scientist Award from KRF (2018), Korea President Award (2019).

His research interest covers 2D nanomaterials including transition metal carbides (MXene) and graphene and their polymer nanocomposites for EMI shielding, thermal conduction, actuators and energy storage device applications.
