个人简介

魏尚进教授现任复旦大学泛海国际金融学院金融经济学学术访问教授、美国哥伦比亚大学终身讲席教授。目前兼任美国国民经济研究局(NBER, 世界著名的经济学研究联盟与学术型智库)中国经济研究组主任、美国布鲁金斯学会(Brookings Institution)高级研究员。曾任亚洲开发银行(ADB)首席经济学家、哈佛大学肯尼迪学院公共政策学副教授、国际货币基金组织(IMF)贸易与投资处主管、世界银行(World Bank)顾问等职务。 魏教授新近获得2020年度孙冶方经济学奖,还曾获得2019年度当代经济学奖、2014年度张培刚发展经济学奖、2014年度孙冶方经济学奖、2016年度与2020年度浦山世界经济学研究奖、2021年度数字金融研究尖峰奖、2016年度安子介国际贸易研究一等奖等重要奖项。 魏尚进教授的学术论文发表于国际顶尖学术杂志,包括 Journal of Finance、Journal of Financial Economics、Review of Financial Studies、American Economic Review、Journal of Political Economy、Quarterly Journal of Economics、Journal of International Economics、Review of Economics and Statistics、Journal of Development Economics、American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics、American Economic Journal: Applied Economics、American Economic Journal: Economic Policy、Journal of International Money and Finance 和 Brookings Papers on Economic Activity 等。 魏尚进教授的研究有广泛的国际影响,多篇学术文章为国际高引用率文章。截至2021年7月底,魏尚进教授文章的总体Google Scholar引用率为52254,其中自2016年来的引用率为18299,有42篇论文的引用率超过400,14篇超过800,4篇超过2000。全球知名经济学研究数据库RePEc(Research Papers in Economics)自2008年起历年发布的全球经济学家排名显示,魏尚进教授位居全球华人经济学家首位。 另外,魏尚进教授还曾担任 Journal of Development Economics 的共同主编,Journal of International Economics、Journal of International Financial Markets 和 Institutions & Money 等学术期刊的副主编和 The China Economic Review 的顾问编委。 魏尚进教授同时为中国经济学研究的国际化进程和人才培养做出了卓越贡献。魏尚进教授是美国国民经济研究局中国经济研究小组创始负责人。由魏尚进教授共同组织启动并担任美方联系人的美国国民经济研究局(NBER)- 北京大学中国经济研究中心(CCER)年会已经举办23年;由魏尚进教授共同组织的哥伦比亚大学-清华大学国际经济研讨会也已举办多届。 此外,魏尚进教授还培养了一大批从事中国经济学研究的青年学子,或用国际化的视野深入研究中国经济与金融问题,或通过中国经济的实例拓展经济学领域本身的前沿。魏尚进教授指导过的博士毕业生遍布于中国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、韩国、欧洲等地的高校、智库、国际组织、政府部门与金融行业。
