Dr Sung SA Baek is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Graduate School of BioMedical Engineering (GSBME) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, specialising in the field of electroactive biomaterials.Dr BAEK was awarded his PhD in biomedical engineering in 2013 from UNSW, and was then recruited by the institute for chemical research (ICR), Kyoto University to undertake a post-doctoral position investigating the concentrated polymer brushes for making ion-sensitve field effect transistors (ISFETS). He holds Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A. and have studied Software Engineering at the University of Sydney, Australia.
