1988.09-1993.07 中国科学技术大学近代物理系,等离子体物理专业,理学学士。 1993.09-1999.12 中国科学技术大学近代物理系,等离子体物理专业,理学博士。 2000.02-2001.05 法国原子能委员会受控核聚变研究所,博士后。 2001.06-2006.03 瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院等离子体物理研究中心,物理工作者。 2006.04-2017.05 华中科技大学聚变与等离子体研究所,教授、博士生导师、所长。 2017.05-至今 中国科学技术大学工程与应用物理系,教授,博士生导师,执行主任。
