个人简介

Rajiv Kumar, male, was born in Lakhimpur town, Uttar-Pradesh in the Northern state of India on 2nd July 1985. His main expertise is investigations of global accretion-ejection fluid solutions around black holes in the relativistic regime. Currently, He is a Post-doctoral Fellow of the Department of Astronomy, USTC. In 2006, He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with major subjects Physics and Mathematics from the University of Lucknow, Uttar-Pradesh, India. In 2008, He obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the central University of India. After that, He joined ARIES (Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences) situated in Nainital, India as a Ph.D. Research scholar in 2009, and completed his Ph.D. work in March 2015. His Ph.D. degree was awarded in Theoretical Astrophysics from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, India in March 2016. He was also a post-doctoral fellow in ARIES from April 2015 to August 2016. Next post-doc, He did from the Xiamen University, Xiamen, Fujian, China from October 2016 to December 2018. After that, He visited many Indian institutions as a visiting fellow for almost one year and collaborated there for many different problems in his fields. Till now, He has published 17 papers in various journals in the collaboration with the different people in the field of accretion physics. He got many awards, medals, and fellowships in his academic/research carrier from the school, college, and organization of the government of India. Since 4th November 2019, He joined the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Here, He will carry on his research endeavors in the field of theoretical astrophysics in close collaboration with Prof. Ye-Fei Yuan and his group members in the department of astronomy.
