Evaluation of membrane chemical cleaning mechanisms for optimised cleaning efficiency in ultrafiltration of protein solutions. Direct observation of membrane fouling process by use of optical and analytical techniques in microfiltration process and evaluation of theoretical models in membrane performance prediction.
