Biomechanics

My research activity relates to analysis and quantification of human movement, with an aim to contribute to the development of clinical guidelines for therapeutic exercise prescription, and assessment of methods of instruction for effective motor skill acquisition. My scope of research ranges from analysis of basic therapeutic exercise for clinical populations, to assessment of motor skill development in paediatric populations, through to detailed analysis of the highly skilled movement patterns of elite athletes and dancers.
