Animal Cell and Molecular Biology
Interests are in the fields of muscle biology and cell biology. Particularly interested in aspects of novel structural and cytoskeletal proteins and complexes and their involvement in normal physiology and disease processes. Diseases of interest include muscular dystrophy and other congenital myopathies, diabetes and obesity. Also have an interest in the role of epigenetic events that impact on muscle adaptation to exercise.
