My area of research expertise is adaptations of the nervous system in response to exercise, in particular the role of exercise to address weakness, pain and fatigue, which are prevalent symptoms of neuromuscular disorders. Investigations range from laboratory experiments on the adaptation of motor and sensory pathways in response to exercise, to using qualitative techniques for practical clinical investigations and evaluating clinical teaching.
