①海-气相互作用及其区域气候变化 ②区域资料同化与中尺度数值模拟。 主要研究成果 先后在《J.Climate》,《J. Geophys. Res.》, 《Geophys. Res. Letter》, 《Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics》等国际刊物上发表论文有130余篇,其中SCI论文60余篇。论文被引用一千余次(90%为它引)。具体的创新研究成果及贡献可概括为以下7个方面1) 根据ENSO事件的爆发提出两类ENSO事件的发生与亚-澳季风活动有密切的联系,2)土壤湿度与降水的反馈机制受到大气环流的调制 3)在复杂地形区卫星资料同化对天气预报有着非常重要的正面影响, 4)预估全球气温增暖具有显著的不确定性, 5)卫星观测资料的应用可以改善再分析资料在平流层大气的不确定性, 6)太阳活动对全球气候变化具有不可忽视的影响, 7)全球生态系统对大气年代际变化响应存在很大的不同。曾多次获得过重要的科学奖项,例如:首届江苏青年科学家奖,青年科技奖,涂长望青年气象科技奖.
