何本国，工学博士，教授、博士生导师，国家优秀青年科学基金获得者。现任东北大学深部工程与智能技术研究院副院长、深部金属矿山安全开采教育部重点实验室副主任。主要学术兼职：国际岩石力学学会设计方法委员会秘书长、中国岩石力学与工程学会岩土信息分会常务理事、岩石动力学专业委员会委员、深地空间探测开发分会理事、《岩石力学与工程学报》和《Geohazard Mechanics》编委。
