Dr. Paolo Coghi is University lecturer specializing in Organic Chemistry with 10 years of postdoctoral research experience covering Pharmaceutical Science, Drug Design, Biochemistry with 24 peer reviewed journals internationally and 1 patent. Currently is laboratory teacher at school of Pharmacy for course Fundamental of chemistry and Medicinal chemistry. He received his MPhil degree (2005) from Milan’s University Statale. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Milan and then worked as post-doctoral research fellow at National Research Council in 2009-11 in project ‘“Hybrid nanoparticles with biomedical applications” in collaboration with CISI (Center for biomolecular interdisciplinary studies and industrial applications). From 2011 to 2013 he worked at Bicocca University of Milan in project “Study and analysis of new photosensible polymers” in collaboration with Research Center “Donegani institute” of ENI. He continued in 2014 with project “Study of morphology of photosensible polymers”. He has been involved in teaching activities (“Chemistry I” course) for the Chemical Sciences and Technologies (Bachelor), University of Milano-Bicocca 2012-14. From 2015 to 2017 has collaborated at SKL-State Key Laboratory of Chinese Medicine in synthesis of triterpenoids Ca-ATPase (SERCA) inhibitors. Dr Coghi has been involved in numerous European project (“Development of New Drugs for the Treatment of Malaria"ANTIMAL 2005-2011 and COST B22 “Drug development for parasite disease” 2007, MIUR Italian financed projects and international collaboration (MRC flagship project 2014 and MRC 2015-18 “Rational Development of Combinations of Known and Novel Drugs for Chemotherapy of Cancer” with North-West University, South Africa). His research cover three major research, including infective disease, Medicinal chemistry and study of mechanism of action of drugs. Membership toWorld Federation of Chinese medicine Societies from December 2015. He is also reviewers for many journal, including Phytochemistry review, journal of Ethnopharmacology, Chemmedchem, Biomedical Reports, International journal of Molecular medicine, Oncology Letters, Bioorganic and Medicinal chemistry. 学历: 2005 MSc in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Milan, Italy.
