Daniele was born and raised in Italy and studied Medicinal Chemistry at the Universita' degli Studi di Perugia. He completed his PhD in 2010 at the University of Sheffield under the supervision of Prof. Iain Coldham. After postdoctoral studies with Prof. Magnus Rueping (RWTH Aachen University) and with Prof. Peter H. Seeberger (Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces) he joined the group of Prof. Varinder K. Aggarwal FRS as Research Officer (University of Bristol, 2012–2014). 研究领域

Our research is focused on the discovery, design and development of novel catalytic methods for chemical synthesis. A central focus in our group is the development of novel methods for the generation of C–N bonds via nitrogen-radicals.
