Bioanalytical Chemistry Nanomedicine

The Feldheim lab is developing new reagents and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as multi-drug resistant M. tuberculosis, K. pneumoniae, HIV, and lung cancer. Our methods are unique in that they exploit interactions between nanometer-sized inorganic particles and cellular biomolecules (e.g., proteins, oligosaccharides, DNA).
