Inorganic and Analytic Chemistry

Prof. Schuster (b. 1954) conducts research into trace and ultra-trace analysis of elements and element species in complex matrices, with particular emphasis on chemical processes for sample preparation. Other areas of interest include highly selective separation and enrichment techniques in trace analytics and for the separation and recovery of heavy metals from industrial mass flows
