Dr Yi (Alec) Jia is currently a Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) Fellow from the Australian Research Council (ARC) in Energy Materials at Griffith University (GU). Dr Jia received his PhD in Materials Engineering from The University of Queensland (UQ) in 2013 under supervision of Prof Xiangdong Yao, Prof Jin Zou and Prof Gaoqing (Max) Lu. As a lead Chief Investigator or Chief Investigator, Dr Jia has succeeded in winning over $ 1 M research grants, including 1 ARC Discovery (2020), 1 ARC DECRA (2018), 1 GU Research Infrastructure Program (2020), 1 GU New Researcher Grant (2014) and 1 GU Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2013). Till Dec. 2020, Dr. Yi Jia has published over 70 papers (first author on 22 papers, and corresponding author on 9 papers) on high impact journals, and 12 invited/oral presentations. Specifically, 1 paper in Nature Catalysis (IF=30.471), 5 papers in Chem (IF=20.292, sister journal of Cell), 1 paper in Chem. Soc. Rev. (IF=40.182), 1 paper in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (IF=14.357), 7 papers in Adv. Mater. (IF=27.398), 5 papers in Angew. Chem.-Int. Edit. (IF=12.959). Till now, Dr Jia’s total citation number is over 5,300 times with H-Index of 37 (Google Scholar), including 14 papers have been selected as the “Highly Cited Paper” in Web of Science.
