研究方向为微生物活性天然产物的发现,天然药物的生物合成及生物催化。

1. 微生物活性天然产物的发现:从特殊生境微生物、食药用真菌等中发现新颖结构活性天然产物,为新药研制提供先导化合物 2. 活性天然产物的生物合成和生物催化:解析结构独特的活性天然产物的生物合成途径,从中发现关键酶,通过异源表达对天然/非天然底物进行生物催化,且通过合成生物学技术提高活性化合物的产量
