个人简介
Duncan Alford is the Consulting Director of the Library and Associate Dean for Information Services at the Peking University School of Transnational Law and Associate Dean for the Law Library and a full Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law. He studied at the University of Virginia and the University of South Carolina and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He has served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice Burley Mitchell of the Supreme Court of North Carolina, as a shareholder in a law firm, as a reference librarian at Columbia University, law librarian and European Union specialist at Princeton University, as head of reference and adjunct professor at Georgetown University, and as the founding Associate Dean for Library and Information Services at the Charlotte School of Law. He is a scholar of legal research, and he is the author of Teaching Legal Research.
