个人简介
王勇教授为北京大学国际关系学院教授、北京大学美国研究中心主任；中国外交部党校教授；北京大学香港特区高级公务员国情培训主讲教授；国家商务部北京大学非洲外交官培训项目教授；瑞士达沃斯世界经济论坛（WEF）地缘政治全球议程委员会委员。研究兴趣包括中美关系、中美经济关系、贸易政治、区域合作、国际经济关系、国际政治经济学、全球治理等。
1966年10月生于安徽霍邱。北京大学法学学士（1987 年）、法学硕士（1990）、法学博士（1996）。 1988－1989 年在美国霍普金斯大学－南京大学中美文化研究中心学习；1994 －1995 年美国加州大学圣迭戈分校访问学者；1999年美国太平洋国际政策委员会（PCIP）－南加州大学联合客座研究员；2002年7－8月台湾政治大学国际关系研究中心访问学者；2011年7-8美国印第安纳州立大学访问学者；2011年8月加拿大国际治理创新中心（CIGI）访问学者；2014年6-7月英国谢菲尔德大学政治经济学研究所访问学者；2014年8-9月加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学（UBC）访问教授；2015年9月-2016年3月加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学（UBC）Chavelier杰出访问教授。
曾应邀在世界银行、世界贸易组织（WTO）、美国哈佛大学、斯坦福大学、加州大学洛杉矶分校、日本早稻田大学、东京大学、庆应大学、英国谢菲尔德大学、诺丁汉大学、韩国高丽大学、首尔国立大学、成均馆大学、南非开普敦大学等、美中贸易全国委员会、法国国际关系研究所、日本防务研究所、德国工商产业协会等机构演讲。曾接受 中国中央电视台 (CCTV) 、中国国际电视台（CGTN)、香港凤凰卫视；英国《金融时报》（Financial Times）、《经济学人》（Economist）、BBC；美国《纽约时报》（ New York Times ）、《洛杉矶时报》 (Los Angeles Times) 、《商业周刊》 (Business Week) 、 CNN 、美国全国公共电台 (NPR)；日本《日本经济新闻》、《每日新闻》、东京电视台；韩国首尔电视台、KBS；巴西《圣保罗页报》（ Folha de S.Paulo ）等中外媒体采访。
