应用结构生物学为主的方法,如X-射线晶体学和冷冻电子显微学,研究重要生物学过程的分子机理,如光合作用中的状态转换过程、原核和真核细胞对于机械力信号的感应过程、以及磷脂生物合成和修饰过程。目标是基于三维结构,对参与重要生物学过程的关键膜蛋白的结构与功能进行深入研究,阐明其发挥作用的机制。
