个人简介

先后在山西农业大学（1979-1983）和北京农业大学（1983-1986）获学士与硕士学位，1995年在英国牛津大学获博士（DPhil）学位，相继在英国牛津大学，加拿大卡尔加里大学，美国哈佛大学/哈佛医学院从事博士后研究工作。2001-2004年在英国牛津大学任讲师、实验室主任、博士生导师，2004-2008年任中国科学院微生物研究所所长。

研究领域

1）主要从事病原微生物跨宿主传播、感染机制与宿主细胞免疫研究 2）公共卫生政策与全球健康策略研究
