Prof Changhai Ding is an ARC Future Fellow at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. He is a member of Global Engagement Committee, UTAS; Associate Director, Menzies Institute for Medical Research; and Director, Arthritis Research Institute of Anhui Medical University. He has received >10 awards including a Future Fellowship by Australian Research Council (Level 2, 2012-2015), Career Development Award by NHMRC (Level 2, 2008-2011), 'Ten of the Best Research Projects 2013' by NHMRC, Servier Young Investigator Prize by Servier Research Institute (France) and Rising Star by UTAS. He is interested in epidemiological and clinical investigation of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
Biography
Changhai Ding is a Professor at University of Tasmanian, Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Anhui Medical University, a Guest Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University and a Visiting Professor at Shanghai University of TCM, China. He joined the Menzies Institute for Medical Research in 2000, had been a Senior Research Fellow during 2006 - 2009, and an Associate Professor during 2010-2013, and has been a Professor since 2014. Before joining UTAS, Changhai was a Professor (1999-2000), an Associate Professor (1995-1998) and an Associate Lecturer (1993-1995) at Anhui Medical University, China.
