1982年华东理工大学硕士研究生毕业获硕士学位. 1989年聘为副教授. 1991年、2006年三度以访问教授身份去澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学1994年起享受江西省政府特殊津贴 1993年起任分析化学学科硕士生导师, 1997-2003年任南昌大学学术委员会委员), 2001-2006年任江西省自然科学基金会委员
