研究领域

1)构造地质学,主要为新构造研究(包括活动断层、构造地貌、剥蚀地貌和堆积地貌、地震、地热、火山等)和构造变形分析(包括各类变形现象的连续介质力学分析、区域构造演化的几何学、年代学和运动学分析等) 2)地球信息科学,主要包括无级比例尺数字地质填图,遥感地质学,地学图像学等。率先开展毫米-百米空间分辨率(露头到手标本尺度)无级比例尺真三维数字模型研究,以减轻肉眼观察的劳动强度
