个人简介
北京航空学院毕业（1978）、北航硕士研究生（78-79）、美国普林斯顿大学航空系博士（1983）、美国马里兰大学航空系博士后（1985）；北京航空航天大学教授（1989）、博士生导师（1993）。1997获国家杰出青年基金,2000年入选“长江学者”奖励计划。长期从事动物飞行的空气动力学研究。曾连续三次获国家自然科学基金重点项目（2002, 2007, 1012）。空气动力学方面,揭示了昆虫拍动翅产生升力的三个机制；力能学方面,揭示了拍动飞行的能耗规律；飞行力学方面,证明了拍动飞行是动不稳定的，但是可控的。研究成果使人们对自然界飞行的认识取得重大进展；被用于昆虫比较生理学/神经生物学研究和微型飞行器(MAV)研制。曾应邀在国际顶尖综述刊物《现代物理评论》上发表昆虫飞行力学的长篇综述论文。2014以来连续入选爱斯维尔高引学者。获教育部自然科学一等奖、国家自然科学二等奖。
