个人简介
萨旺院士1990年在加拿大舍布鲁克大学获得电子工程博士学位,1991年在加拿大麦吉尔大学从事生物医学工程博士后研究,1991-2018在加拿大蒙特利尔大学历任助理教授、副教授和教授。2001-2015任加拿大研究主席(智慧医疗器械领域)。目前是国际著名期刊IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems的主编。2018年加入西湖大学,任工学院讲席教授、生物医学研究与创新中心首席科学家(PI, Center for Biomedical Research and Innovation or Cenbrain)。
研究领域
智慧医疗器械涉及到微电子集成电路、无线通信、信号处理、微流控、微纳米光子学、微加工、微系统集成等多个学科,属于交叉领域。智能微系统应用于医疗领域,包括体外诊断(IVD)、疾病预测、人体功能恢复等多个方面。萨旺院士特别关注神经退行性疾病以及与大脑相关的各种疾病的诊断、预测和治疗,并涉足脑机界面和人工智能等新兴领域。
