个人简介

汤涛,中国科学院院士,南方科技大学数学讲席教授、北京大学客座教授,美国工业与应用数学学会会士(SIAM Fellow),现担任中国数学会计算数学学会副主任。 汤涛教授1984年取得北京大学数学学士学位;1989年获英国利兹大学数学博士学位;1990年至1998年执教于加拿大西门菲莎大学,取得终身教职;1998年加入香港浸会大学,2003年任数学讲座教授。汤涛教授曾任香港浸会大学数学系系主任、研究生院院长、代理副校长、协理副校长、理学院院长。2015年5月被聘为南方科技大学科研副校长兼研究生院院长,2018年7月至2019年9月担任南方科技大学副校长兼教务长。2019年2月,担任南方科技大学杰曼诺夫数学中心执行主任
