文化遗产保护、节能材料及功能陶瓷粉体合成等。在文化遗产保护方面率先引入多元统计分析与数据库技术,开展了古陶瓷等硅酸盐质文物的物理化学基础及科技保护研究工作;在节能材料方面开展了节能材料粉体及节能膜的研究。先后培养博士、硕士研究生50余名,在国内外刊物上发表研究论文100余篇,出版专著3部。主持及参与国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家“十一五”科技支撑计划重点项目、国家文物局“指南针计划”试点项目、上海市重大基础研究项目等多项国家和省部级科研课题的研究,获得省部级科技奖两项。
