研究方向 磁场影响光化学反应过程 激发态化学反应过程中,被激发的反应分子会形成两种具有弱相互作用的不同自旋态(S&T)的自由基对(Radicalpairs,RPs),具有不同自旋态的自由基对之间可以通过系间窜越进行相互转化。不同自旋态的自由基对在本质上有明显的差异,如不同的键长,分子空间构型和电子分布情况,从而具有明显不同的物理和化学性质,因此在激发态化学反应中可以生成不同的产物。由于单线态和三线态自由基对之间的能量差(EST)较小,使得磁场可以影响单线态与三线态之间的系间窜越,最终影响激发态化学反应的反应速率和产物收率。研究磁场影响下的激发态化学反应过程,可以帮助人们更清楚地认识化学反应中的机理。 磁场影响激发态光物理过程 材料激发态的磁场效应,主要是外磁场对于激发态的单重态和三重态的相互转化过程的作用。通过影响体系单重态与三重态的动态平衡,磁场将能够影响材料的发光特性。因此,探究自旋极化激发态发光的动力学过程,将能够加深人们对自旋弛豫、转化等物理化学过程的理解。各种先进的光学、电学、磁学仪器与方法为材料发光动力学过程的表征与研究提供了有力的支持,借助课题组自行搭建的HBT(Hanbury-Brown-Twiss)装置、变温荧光光谱等仪器或手段,我们将能够从多角度更加深入地认识各种荧光动力学过程,揭示其物理化学本质。 磁场影响有机材料/器件光电性质 有机半导体由于没有重原子效应,所以它的自旋寿命可以达到ms的量级,如此长的自旋寿命给了我们调控有机半导体的自旋带来了机会。在OLED中,电注入产生单重态和三重态激子的比例为1:3。在外加磁场时,会改变电子和空穴的自旋相互作用,从而改变单重态三重态的比例,这种效应称为有机半导体的磁效应。磁效应在宏观上一般表现为两种:1.电致发光磁效应(MEL);2.有机磁阻效应(OMAR)。借助我们组自行搭建的仪器,能够在低温磁场下对OLED的发光和电学性质进行测量。通过研究OLED的MEL和OMAR效应,我们就可以更加理解有机半导体中的自旋相关过程。
