毕业于武汉大学摄影测量与遥感专业。现任中心主任，中国地理信息系统学会理事，广东省遥感与地理信息系统学会常务理事，广东省地理学会理事，广东省地理空间信息公共实验室和广东省遥感与地理信息系统重点实验室的遥感与GIS科带头人
研究领域
数字城市及其应用研究；地理信息系统平台及模型研究；农业遥感与GIS应用研究等
