以农产品安全生产全程管控研究为主线，从源头生产到产后加工对农产品安全的机理、规律进行研究，“从农田到餐桌”进行全程风险危害因子的监测、管控技术研究与集成应用；负责植物性农产品中农药残留、致病微生物等为主的危害性检测、安全评价、风险分析、与管控技术体系规范研究、植物性农产品中营养成分分析以及物联网溯源体系等研究。
