讲授物理化学(本科生)、化学电源(本科生)、电化学研究方法(研究生)等课程。编写《实验电化学》(中国地质大学出版社,2010年)。近年来,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、湖北省自然科学基金重点项目、国土资源部矿产资源节约与综合利用示范工程项目等多项。

主要从事电化学能源、电化学腐蚀,以及材料物理化学等工作。
