研究领域
作为有机化学的核心学科,有机合成已成为生物、医药和材料等领域中的必不可少的工具,对环境和能源也影响极深。有机合成与人类的生活息息相关。
本课题组主要进行有机合成的研究,在开始阶段侧重于研究有机方法学。有机分子的合成依靠于许多有机反应来实现,有机反应是有机合成的基础。尽管人们已发展了无数的有机反应,许多有机转变还非常困难,存在效率低下、过程复杂、成本太高和化学废物过多等问题, 不符合绿色化学的理念。在提倡可持续发展和绿色环保的二十一世纪,这些问题愈发显得重要和紧迫。因此,现代有机化学的当务之急是发展高效、原子经济型以及环境友好的有机反应。
本课题组首先将要发展的有机反应是碳氢键的活化。有机合成主要依赖于有机官能团的相互转化,碳氢键活化无需借助于官能团的转变,可直接合成所需的有机分子,从而避免了化学废物的产生。此外,直接的碳氢键活化也给有机合成提供了一个全新的合成思路,并可大大提高合成效率。本组将要发展高效的,有实用价值的基于碳氢键活化的有机反应。长期目标是应用碳氢键活化直接合成有机分子,特别是药物分子。
本课题组的另外一个研究领域是糖的合成。糖具有非常重要的生物活性,并有很好的药物开发前景。与多肽和多聚核苷酸相比,多糖化合物的结构复杂得多,合成也非常困难。本课题组将致力于发展高效的糖合成方法及多糖化合物的合成,并进行基于多糖化合物的生物研究和药物开发。
