个人简介

Dr. Chen received his PhD degree from School of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Tianjin University in 2004, then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tianjin University from 2004 to 2006. He joined Tianjin University as an associate professor in 2007 and his research interests focus on the area of metabolic engineering and synthetic biology, mainly including: (i) Genome scale metabolic network construction and in silicon analysis for pathway optimization. (ii) Metabolic engineering of microbe for production of platform chemicals. (iii)The development of genome editing tools and genome reduced bacteria. He has published more than 70 SCI papers (ResearcherID: N-1817-2015; ORCID ID: 0000-0001-9588-1821) which have been cited more than 1300 times in web of science and nearly 2000 times in google scholar (H-index of 20 in web of science and 25 in google scholar). He also has co-authored three books since 2008, and got 8 projects supported by the government and two projects supported by companies. 主要研究方向为生物反应工程、代谢工程和合成生物学,主要采用代谢工程方法系统优化微生物细胞性能,或采用合成生物技术构建优良微生物底盘细胞与基因元件,实现生物合成途径的优化,重点致力于开发重要生物基化学品、药物及天然产物的生物反应与加工过程。
