花药发育的分子机理:从模式植物拟南芥分离雄性不育突变体,克隆相关花药发育的关键基因,然后深入研究这些基因在花药发育中的功能。在此基础上分析花药发育关键基因的遗传通路和调控网络。 光合作用及叶绿体发育系统生物学:利用正向遗传学、反向遗传学以及生物信息学技术研究模式植物拟南芥叶绿体发育,以及叶绿体发育与光合作用关系。
