个人简介
付新华，教授，我国第一个从事萤火虫研究的博士。2000年至今从事萤火虫的生物多样性，行为及生态保护研究。现任职于华中农业大学植物科技学院、昆虫资源利用与害虫可持续治理湖北省重点实验室。中国内地第一个萤火虫研究和保护组织——（湖北省）守望萤火虫研究中心理事长及主任。
