Organic Chemistry/Analytical & Bioanalytical Chemistry/Chemical Theory & Computation/Experimental Physical Chemistry/
Our group is interested in synthetic organic methodology (biomimetic and green/environmental chemistry), physical-organic chemistry (reactive intermediates, mechanisms, strained ring compounds, and antiaromaticity), mass spectrometry and IR spectroscopy.
A few compounds we have worked on recently are illustrated below:

Infrared spectra of ions produced in our FTMS can be obtained using modern lasers. A schematic of our apparatus is given below.
