仿生催化;生物物理有机化学;功能有机合成 1981年本科毕业于湖南师范大学化学系,1988年研究生毕业于南开大学化学系,硕士学位。1994年晋升教授,1997年遴选为博士生导师,1999年享受国务院政府特殊津贴,2004年入选湖南省新世纪121人才工程第一层次人选。1997.11-2000.6任湖南大学化学化工学院总支书记,2000.6-2011.3任湖南大学化学化工学院院长。
