Insoluble polymerized cyclodextrin microparticles entrap antibiotics in bone cement. The cement is then implanted into total joint replacements and is used to treat prolonged infections. In article 1800812, Horst A. von Recum and co‐workers show that this cyclodextrin‐based system has the ability to be refilled with drugs to extend therapy after implantation.
