Centimeter‐size crystals of the new beryllium‐free zincoborate phosphate Ba3(ZnB5O10)PO4 (BZBP) are shown by J. M. Rondinelli, P. S. Halasyamani, and co‐workers on page 7380 to exhibit second harmonic generation (SHG), i.e. optical frequency doubling, properties as illustrated by the multiple light beams. A large SHG response and short absorption edge of the BZBP are enabled by the atomic scale structure, shown in the background, and provide access to coherent radiation in the elusive deep‐ultraviolet regime.
