A straightforward synthesis of N‐substituted spiro‐azacycles from υ‐amino naphthol is presented trough PTAB mediated oxidative dearomatization. In the process, the N‐substituted spiro‐azacyclodienones were readily transformed into strained cyclopropanated spiro‐cycles.
