A near-ultraviolet emitter (ICz-BO) has been designed with two simple multiple resonance skeletons. ICz-BO shows a narrowband near-ultraviolet emission at 404 nm with a small FWHM of 28 nm in toluene, while a solution-processed organic light-emitting diode based on the ICz-BO emitter showed an EQEmax of 12.01 % and a low CIEy of 0.031.
