The correlation between d-band centers and hydrogen peroxide activation barriers was used to screen platinum-based transition-metal-doped nanozymes, which effectively enabled sensitive analysis of trace CO-releasing molecules in the blood, suggesting that catalysts designed on the basis of d-band centers are of great significance in drug monitoring and metabolic management.
