Affiliation

A series of ionic covalent organic frameworks (COFs) synthesized with different anions showed excellent extraction of gold from water and even from electronic waste leaching solution. The counter anions indeed affected the capture performance, demonstrating that these ionic COFs could be developed as high-performance gold recovery materials for e-waste treatment.
