The combination of hybrid local and charge-transfer (HLCT) and organic ultralong room temperature phosphorescence (OURTP) in a molecule leads to a long OURTP lifetime up to 251 ms and a high total quantum efficiency over 80 %. Impressively, the HLCT OURTP light-emitting diodes exhibit an unprecedented total external quantum efficiency (EQEtotal) of ~12 %, OURTP efficiency (EQEOURTP) of 3.11 % and electroluminescent lifetime up to 201 ms, respectively.
