Leader-following Consensus for Discrete-time Multi-agent Systems With Nonidentical Channel Fading

In this paper, mean-square leader-following consensus for multi-agent systems is considered. In particular, nonidentical channel fading is involved in the systems which makes the consensus problem much more difficult. To overcome the difficulty, a novel distributed consensus protocol is proposed containing the relative measurement information and a feedforward controller. By applying a parameterized Riccati inequality and defining a Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for the leader-following consensusability are derived. Moreover, both sufficient and necessary conditions are obtained for the scalar multi-agent systems. At last, two simulation examples are provided to show the correctness of the proposed results.
