is a prominent medicinal fungus extensively cultivated across China. In 2022, symptoms of yellow rot were observed on the fruiting bodies of . in a mushroom farm located in Panshi City, Jilin Province, China. We isolated and purified a pathogenic fungus, identified as through morphological characteristics and multigene phylogenetic analysis. Pathogenicity of . was confirmed through inoculation of . fruiting bodies. This represents the first report of . causing yellow rot disease in . . Fungicide sensitivity tests were conducted using a mycelial growth assay, revealing high sensitivity of . to Carbendazim, Chlorothalonil, Fludioxonil, Prochloraz, and Prochlorza-Mn, with EC values ranging from 0.003 to 0.046 μg mL. These findings offer valuable insights into the effective management of yellow rot of . .
