This streamlined protocol offers a straightforward route for the dihalogenation (F, Cl, and Br) of gem-difluoroalkenes with high yields and exceptional functional group compatibility. Additionally, bromodifluoromethyl and chlorodifluoromethyl groups demonstrated efficacy in generating trifluoromethylated products with outstanding yields. Furthermore, we successfully employed the dihalogenated product in 18F-labeling.
